Common account problems

How do I create a BioCyc account?

BioCyc user accounts enable you to create and store SmartTables, store organism sets for comparative operations, receive important email updates from BioCyc, and more.

To create a new BioCyc account:

  1. Click the upper right corner "Create Free Account"
  2. Fill in some information about yourself.
  3. What is a Human verification text?

The Human verification text is your Surname (Last name) followed by numeric digits of the numbers shown.

In this example, the verification text you enter into the "Human Verification Text" box is "Lee96".
    Replace "Lee" with your surname.
